New Business within the Food and Process Industry

Workplace: Denmark   I    Application deadline: Ongoing
Employment start:
As soon as possible

Are you motivated by winning new customers and opening doors in technical B2B environments? Do you thrive on building relationships within the food and process industry?

At Process Integration, we are looking for a commercially driven and relationship-oriented Business Development Manager who can identify new opportunities and drive business growth within the food and process industry segment.

Process Integration delivers custom-designed solutions for process plants and systems to companies within the food, feed, and process industries. We work closely with our customers to optimize and develop technical solutions and build business cases that create value in their production and processes.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in outbound sales, can navigate both technical and commercial aspects, and has the drive to identify, develop, and lead sales processes—from initial contact to long-term customer relationships.

Your Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new customers and markets within the food and process industry segment.

You will work closely with internal sales teams, process specialists, and customers’ technical and commercial decision-makers.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and prospecting new customers within the food and process industry segment
  • Initiating dialogue through outbound sales, networking, and relationship building
  • Understanding customer needs and translating them into commercial opportunities
  • Driving sales processes from initial contact to agreement
  • Building long-term relationships with key customers and decision-makers
  • Representing the company at customer meetings, trade fairs, and industry events

The role involves approximately 120 travel days per year, primarily within the Nordics, as well as the UK and Ireland.

Your Profile

We are looking for a candidate with strong commercial drive and solid technical and business understanding.

You are able to initiate dialogue, work in a structured manner, build trust, and collaborate effectively with both technical specialists and decision-makers.

We expect that you:

  • Have experience with B2B sales within industry, process, food, or feed sectors
  • Possess technical understanding, e.g., from process, production, or engineering environments
  • Thrive in outbound sales and developing new customers
  • Are persistent and motivated by identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • Work in a structured way with pipelines and sales processes
  • Have strong communication skills and can engage across all organizational levels—from shop floor employees to technical experts and executive decision-makers
  • Are fluent in English, both written and spoken

Who You Are

You have a natural hunter mindset and are motivated by opening doors, creating dialogue with new customers, and developing new business opportunities.

You are persistent, structured, and curious, and you thrive in outbound sales. Rejection does not discourage you—on the contrary, it motivates you to find new ways to engage customers.

You work independently, take initiative, and are results-driven with a clear focus on growth.

What We Offer

At Process Integration, you will become part of a company with strong technical expertise and an international customer base.

Process Integration is part of J-Tec Material Handling Group, which belongs to the Katoen Natie Group—a global player within logistics and material handling.

We offer:

  • A key role in developing new customers and markets
  • Close collaboration with highly skilled technical specialists
  • A high degree of autonomy and responsibility
  • The opportunity to work in an international environment
  • A role with significant commercial impact
  • A workplace with skilled and dedicated colleagues
  • Attractive employment terms and benefits

Location

The position is organizationally anchored at our headquarters in Skanderborg, Denmark, but we are open to candidates based elsewhere in the Nordics.

The role offers a high degree of flexibility and the possibility of hybrid working, combined with presence at customer sites and the office as required.
