What started as a casual conversation during a morning commute has evolved into a thriving global engineering company. This year Danish-based Process Integration celebrates its 10th anniversary – a milestone marking a journey defined by trust, ambition and a passion for complex process design.
Founded in 2015 by engineers Sti Løvgreen and Lars Johansen, Process Integration began with just two laptops, to desks and a shared vision: To take a holistic approach on complex technical projects in the feed industry. The two decided to co-found a business in the morning train on their way to work, and after two months they landed their first assignment – despite not yet owning the necessary software to complete it. It was the beginning of what would become a decade of rapid expansion and international collaboration.
Long-term partnerships and mutual trust
Today Process Integration employs more than 100 specialists and operates across South America, Europe and the U.S. The team delivers end-to-end engineering services – from initial design through to implementation – for both the feed and food industries. The company’s growth is rooted in long-term partnerships and mutual trust.
“We never imagined we’d grow this much. We hoped to build a team of 10, and now we’ve passed 100. None of this would be possible without all the dedicated people who believed in our mission from the beginning,” says co-founder Lars Johansen. “Trust is one of the most important values in our business.”
The beginning of an exciting new chapter
As Process Integration enters its second decade, the company is doubling down on innovation in the food industry – an area the founders believe will be at the forefront of global change.
”The world faces the challenge of feeding a growing population while reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions. That calls for bold, intelligent solutions, and we want to be part of that transformation,” says co-founder Sti Løvgreen.
Process Integration celebrates the 10-year anniversary with partners, clients and employees this August, marking not only a decade of growth but the beginning of an exciting new chapter.
Since 2015, when we started our business in Denmark, we have grown and are now represented in four countries.
