Resource recovery for more efficient aqua feed production
EWOTEC recovers water and energy from dryer exhaust air helping reduce energy use, water consumption, odor emissions and dry matter loss.
By returning valuable resources to the process, EWOTEC supports a more efficient production system and can be tailored to both existing and new plants according to individual requirements for energy recovery, water recovery and air treatment.
Recover resources from the drying process
The drying process releases large amounts of warm, humid exhaust air. EWOTEC is designed to capture value from this air stream instead of letting energy and water leave the process unused.
The system condenses water from dryer and flash-off air, recovers energy for reuse in the process and contributes to lower odor emissions. Depending on the selected configuration, EWOTEC can support water savings of up to 100%, energy savings of up to 75–80% and odor reduction of up to 95%.
A solution adapted to your production
EWOTEC is available in different configurations depending on the needs of the plant:
EWOTEC Basic
Recovers condensate water and energy from the process air while reducing odor emissions and dry matter loss.
EWOTEC Air Clean
Combines resource recovery with final air treatment adapted to local requirements, such as biofilter, carbon or ozone treatment.
EWOTEC Max
Adds heat pump technology for maximum energy recovery and the highest potential savings.
Typical benefits
- Reduced energy consumption
- Lower water use
- Reduced odor emissions
- Less dry matter loss
- Better use of resources already present in the process
- Flexible integration in existing or new plants
A practical step towards more efficient production
EWOTEC provides aqua feed producers with an integrated way to improve resource efficiency around the drying process. By combining energy recovery, water recovery and emission control in one solution, it helps reduce operating costs and supports a more sustainable use of utilities in production.
